What is a Televisit?

• A Televisit is very similar to an in-office visit.  One of our Providers will diagnose your symptoms and prescribe medication (if needed) through a virtual visit/video chat.

• Your costs are the same as an in-person office visit.  In most cases, telehealth visits are covered by insurance during this time, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.  Please check with your insurance for coverage.  Copays & deductibles may apply.  If your televisit is NOT covered, your responsibility will be $75 for a 15-minute appointment.

• To video chat with one of our Providers, you will need access to our Patient Portal on a video capable computer, or you will need the Healow app on your smartphone or tablet.

How exactly does Televisit work?

• Televisit is available for our established patients.

• Contact the office and ask to schedule a televisit.

• Download the televisit consent form on our site and return it to the office.

• Access Patient Portal or Download the Healow app from the app store and use our office code EFFCAA

• Log in and set your own 4-digit code for future use.

• Your appointment will appear on the app.

• Log in at least 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to check your connection.

• Once logged in, answer the questionnaire about your condition (this can be done any time before).

• The Provider will join you in your visit at your scheduled time. You will have a similar visit as in the office only by Video conference
